$CYPH powers access across the CYPHER ecosystem. On ORIGIN specifically, it gates submissions, enables seeding signals, unlocks documentation tiers, and qualifies wallets to participate in idea auctions.
Four ways $CYPH powers ORIGIN.
Minimum 100 $CYPH staked to submit an idea. This is the primary anti-spam mechanism — it means every idea on ORIGIN has real skin in the game from the moment of submission.
Any $CYPH holder can seed ideas with positive or negative signals. Seeding moves the community dimension (20%) of the Belief Score. Seeding is a signal, not a financial position — no ETH is at risk.
To place a bid in any ORIGIN auction, your wallet must hold at least 1,000 $CYPH. This ensures bidders are genuine protocol participants with meaningful stake in the ecosystem.
Any $CYPH holder can access Tier 1 documentation for any idea — the full description (up to 2,000 words), market hypothesis, and AI assessment summary. No ETH backing required.

as you build reputation.
Seeder accuracy score is earned by consistently backing ideas that graduate. Higher tier means your community signal moves the Belief Score further. An Architect-tier seeder moves the community dimension 2.5× more than an Observer.

Reaching Architect tier requires real reputation built over many successful idea seeds. Score floors at 0 and decays 1% per month of inactivity. Plagiarism in seeded ideas results in an immediate −8 score deduction.

$ORIG is the ORIGIN-specific governance and advanced access token. Launching post-mainnet in V2. $ORIG enables Architect-tier seeding, governance proposals, and protocol treasury participation.
